The Hayden Ross Motorsports Foundation a 501c3 will honor the name and legacy of a young professional driver who we lost way too early to an ATV accident. Hayden had the ability to go as far as he wanted in the motorsports world and probably would have made a great career out of racing. Now we will honor him by letting his name help discover the next great motorsports professionals. We will use this loss to bring great things to the motorsports industry and introduce many people to this world that may not have ever had a chance to experience racing to this extent. Racing of any kind is a very hard field to break into, most racers get involved because it was a family tradition or sport that a family member was involved. There are many factors that keep young adults out of these types of sports, the cost for one is incredibly high, there needs to be specialized equipment and facilities that most young people do not have access too and experience. It would be very hard for a young man or woman who got the bug to start watching races at a local track to go into the pits and get involved with a team.
So, what the HRMF is hoping to do is build a platform that an individual can find out about what we do and take it to their school or organization and get a program started. We will accomplish this by providing grants each year to these schools and organization to either start a program or continue to grow a program that will teach kids how to build a motorsports program.
Beyond that the Hayden Ross Motorsports Foundation will provide annual scholarships to students to attend one of our partnering performance motorsports trade schools or a automotive trades program that we have teamed up with. This will give students a chance to build a career in something they love. They say "love what you do and you won't work a day in your life."
